Meet the Kidswise Trainer

Sandy Galea

Sandy has 30+ years of experience in children's ministry.

She has written curriculum and produced a vast array of resources for Sunday and midweek teams for children aged 1 to 11 years. Her unique contribution is writing lessons that explore books of the Bible chapter-by-chapter, enabling churches to have adults and children in the same passage Sunday by Sunday.

Sandy is an experienced trainer. She has spoken at Children's Ministry Conferences and lectured at various Bible colleges, both in Australia and overseas. She has equipped people in both church and school-based ministries.

Sandy holds extensive experience in developing leaders at various levels. She has trained team leaders, those who oversee a ministry area and church leaders. Sandy has launched three online training platforms: Kidswise Masterclass, Kidswise Academy, and Kidswise Equip.

Sandy is passionate to see God’s kingdom grow in both depth and reach as God’s people are equipped to use their gifts to serve. She is also passionate to see children know Jesus and make him known.

About Kidswise Academy

Biblical

Courses seek to ground their content in Biblical principles and aim to help participants to apply these principles to their ministry situation. The gospel is what drives us forward and shapes every ministry, within the family home and within the local church community.

Engaging

Courses are designed to cater for a wide variety of situations and learning styles. There are courses for an individual and courses for a group (large or small). There are a variety of types of exercises included in every course - self-reflective activities, quizzes, stimulating articles to read, resources to explore - to name but a few. Every course comes complete with video content enabling participants to connect with the course's trainer.

Flexible

Courses can be completed over a two month period. For those who choose to complete an individual course, this enables participants to self-pace the course to fit into their lifestyle. For those choosing a group course, this enables the facilitator to prepare the course using the notes provided, advertise the course and ensure the day is set up in such a way that participants go away wanting more.

Certificates

Certificates are available for both individual and group courses. Thus enabling participants to show proof of ongoing development in a ministry area.
