Journeying With Kids In Grief
Group Training 2 Hours
Trainer: Sandy Galea
6 Videos | 8 Exercises
Suitable for the leader of a children’s ministry, children’s ministry volunteers, parents
Grief is not the domain of the elderly. Kids live in a broken world where death and grief, if not now, will one day be their experience. What is our role in helping children and their families to navigate grief? How do we help our church family to respond well to these little ones? How do we help every child by holding out gospel hope in a broken world?
This course comes complete with video input from Sandy Galea as well as exercises to stimulate and facilitate discussion in groups and pairs. There are also self-reflection activities and time set aside for prayer. There is a handout for the person facilitating the training. The Facilitator's Guide has extra notes to help guide them in their role and the preparation needed prior to the training. There is also a handout for people attending the training. Both PDFs need to be downloaded and printed prior to the training day.
This course has a two-month limited access. So the purchasing of the course, the previewing of the material, and the running of the training need to be completed within that two-month period.
